What Is The Best And Fastest Way To Learn Portuguese And Spanish So I Can Conduct Business In South America?

by admin on November 30, 2009

I am going to South America soon, and I feel its of utmost respect that I learn Portuguese (for Brazil) and Spanish (for the rest of the continent) so that I can converse with the people and conduct business on the continent. I also want to learn the customs and traditions of the various countries so not to offend its citizenry. Your responses are greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance.

All the above are good tips - the tapes, the subtitled movies and even the boyfriend! You can also watch TV from Latin America at the site below so you can really challenge yourself and see how much you are following. Boa sorte!

take a speed-learning class taught by a native. there are things you’ll never know if learning on your own, like trying to say one thing then ending up saying an expression that means something naughty, or what to record on your answering machine.
also if you have any questions about portuguese and spanish you can contact me :)
